Preparing for Employment

The aim of this is project to develop the learners skills and confidence to assist them to prepare for various work placements, leading to employment outcomes.
Learners will benefit from training on CV preparation, interview techniques, preparing for an interview in preparation for work whilst at the same time achieving a nationally recognised qualification. 

In order to be eligible, you will need to meet the following criteria:
18-24 year olds, must be unemployed for less than 9 months.
25+ year olds, must be unemployed for less than 1 year.

STEP Construction Programme

This programme is for 18-24 year olds who are unemployed. it will give them a 6 week work placement, with a guaranteed inteview at the end.

Interviews are held and only sucessful candidates will secure admission to a 6 week work placement. Once they have completed the 6 week placement they will be guaranteed interview for employment. This is a possible stepping stone onto an apprenticeship programme, which would work towards a recognised qualification. Click here for more information
