- How to toe and heal windows and doors
- Know how to adjust door hinges
- Setting door keeps
- How to adjust keeps and door locks
- Checking drainage
- Composite door slabs and faults
- French doors adjusting toe and healing, locks and hinges
- Sliding patio door adjustment of lock and wheels
- Friction hinges; how to measure and how to identify different types
- Window locking mechanisms, espagnolettes and shoot bolts
- How to identify the bead make-up and different types of sealed unit; replacing like-for-like
